Yesterday (July 30, 2013) was spent in preparation--I'm sure we were all a bit much for Ky-man, but we all wanted to be around so we helped him pack and clean his room and enjoy his 'last supper' of Chicken Cordon Blue.

We spent the evening watching Forever Strong in celebration of Kyrons opportunity to have Larry Gelwix as his Mission President. We enjoyed ice cream sundaes and then headed to the Stake Center where Kyron was set apart by President Dummer, around 9:30. It was such a neat evening. He is going to be an incredible missionary! He has 'caught the wave' and as Grandma Craven said, it's a big one!

This morning we were able to enjoy a farewell breakfast at Granny Annies before Kyron, Mom, and Dad headed to the Provo MTC. We said our *tearful* goodbyes back at home and then they were off! Kyron reported to the MTC at 12:45 and officially began his time as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

(Brielle and Matt are on a Hunt Family vacation this week. She said goodbye last weekend)
All of us at home had a tearfully happy day as we thought about how much we are going to miss him and how proud we are of him!
What a great guy he is!!
